Our Company spent 3 years researching, learning, discovering, and creating different soap formulas to discover that one particular combination you will find to be quite exotic and exceptional. Our combination of natural oils, essential oil scents, natural exfoliants and pure Hawaiian rain water help create one of the most authentic Hawaiian made soaps available to everyone. We continue to strive to make our products using only the most natural ingredients available, that are environmentally friendly, and contain natural Hawaiian ingredients. Some of our exotic ingredients include organic and Hawaiian grown exfoliants, Hawaiian cacao (Chocolate), Kona coffee, pure Hawaiian rain water, and the health benefits of Kukui Nut Oil. A Small Company On A Big Island Our growing company is located on our farm in the mauka town of Holualoa. We had our 1100 square foot manufacturing facility built in 2005 and recently added a retail store for our farm tour guests. We try to keep the business small so that we can give our customers personal service and enlighten our customers to our products and the inner workings of an agricultural farm. Our products are packaged in small yellow boxes with all of the information portrayed in easy to understand terms so that our customers know exactly what they are buying. This also allows us to keep our costs down and we can pass the savings onto the consumer. We don't believe in the glitz and glam of marketing to get our point across. Easy to understand terms is what the discretionary consumer requires today. Fragrance Scent VS Essential Oil Scent We created the Kona Natural Soap Company on the Big Island of Hawaii to provide a product that is both natural and good for you. We do not use artificial ingredients or synthetic materials. You will not find any fragrance in our soaps, therefore we do not make a soap that smells like "pikake" or "coconut" due to the petroleum synthetics in the fragrance. Petroleum synthetics are not good for your skin. We use only natural essential oils. Unfortunately you cannot produce natural essential oils of many common scents without a tremendous cost increase to the product. The distillation of the botanical can be extremely expensive because of the extraction process used to make the essential oil. Check the ingredients of the soap you are currently using and you will see that there is a "fragrance" on the label. There is NO fragrance in ANY of our soaps. They are extemely pure and only scented with pure essential oils distilled from botanicals. We keep our costs down by using many citrus scented essential oils and pass that savings on to our customers. Putting a natural product on your skin is much better than a synthetic. Furthermore, our proximity to the agricultural businesses on the Big Island and our own farm products helps us create some exotic and unique soap formulas that are truly Hawaiian and good for you too. Handcrafted For A Superior Product Our soaps are all handmade in the small Holualoa factory located on the Kona Historical Corridor of Mamalahoa Highway. They are cured, individually hand cut to approximately 3.5 - 4.0 ounces, and boxed at the facility to be sent directly to the consumer. Any aesthetic imperfections are from the handmade process giving each bar its own individuality. Our own farm grown Kona coffee and Hawaiian cacao are used in the soap formulas that contain coffee and/or cacao (chocolate) ingredients.
